shifting at 2500 under part throttle. and 3rd at 30MPH

ok, i adjusted my TV cable and the shifts can sometime feel violent. alot more firm then before.
Before it would shift into 2nd under coasting conditions or very little throttle at like 6 MPH, now it shifts at like 13 or so, at about 2500+3000 RPMS. and it will wait to shift into 3rd gear at 30 MPH. and before it would shift in OD at 36 MPH now it waits till about 45..

Part throttle shift points are all relative. Minimum and maximum remove the variance of what throttle position you normally drive at.

What is the WOT shift points?

alright, i think its at about 5400, or maybe even exactly red line, i haven't had a chance to really try cause its been raining, and this morning i finaly got a chance to open it up, only problem is that i might of accidently let of the gas because of habbit (shifts into 2nd at 40 MPH which is speed limit on road i was on, so i might of let off a little so i wouldn't chirp 2nd too loud or go too far over speed limit).. i'll try it again tomorrow all the way down just to make sure. but before i adjusted the TV cable it seemed to shift the same at WOT, maybe even higher.

and another thing, while i wait for ya answer.. shifting into 2nd is more rough then the rest, i mean its dangerous driving the car on wet roads because whether i am accelerating or decelerating, and im turning onto a road and it shifts into 2nd, i will feel the rearend slide about a foot or two. and even dry weather will cause it to slide a couple inches. i know that they shift hard, but this hard? its not so bad with the A\C on cause it seems to really drag on the engine and just seems to shift better.
