I have a 91 RS 305. It has the 2.73's out back(open diff.) I plan on dropping in a 383 TPI, a Tremec 5 Speed(hopefully),and I know the stock rearend will not last long and only hold me back. So do I go new or used. I plan on taking it to the strip occasionally but it will be a daily driver. I would like around a 3.42 posi setup. Also I'd like to put a Baer disc brake system on. Where can I find a good new or used rear end for what I want? Thanks.

 

if you're going to be spending the money on a new rear i'd buy a 9 inch from moser.
