What series carrier do I have in my 85 disc rearend with limited slip and 3.23 gears? The reason I am asking is I found some 3.42 gears out of an '89 V6 rearend that I would like to change, but I think it is 2 series carrier and don't know if they will go into the 85 rearend. I don't want to purchase the gears and then rip apart my rearend to find out they won't work. Any help or advice would be appreciated.
