LT1 and LT4 PP
whats the diff between the 2? the guy at the Chevrolet dealership said that they didnt put LT4's in camaro's only in vettes but i know that they had a few with LT4's. i will be runnng a McLeod clutch with the engine combo in my sig, minus the heads.

You are right the guy at the dealership is wrong. They did have some cammaros with the lt4s. The differences in the engines are:
Heads and intake ports are .100" larger than the lt1.
The cam is a little larger than the lt1 cam there are many people that think the lt4 cam is the lt4 hot cam, they are totally different.
Roller rockers 1.6:1
The lt4 has no egr system.
The lt4 also comes with a heavy duty timing chain.
