hey guys, I am inquiring on a 95 Z 4L60E tranny. 1. is there an adjustable TV cable or is the line pressure computer controlled?
2. are the same boost valves recomended as with the 700R4 trannys for nice positive shifts? (i.e. .500 boost valve, XXX reverse valve, etc.)?? Can you give me those specs please

It is indeed computer controlled. I would recommend as with the 700 to use the TransGo Reprogramming kit for the 4L60E along with the TransGo Vacuum Pressure Control. TransGo also makes a larger boost valve (all in one) for this tranny too. Here is a link for some of the parts: http://www.hptransparts.com/MM007.ASP?pageno=90

They don't list the Vacuum control but I can get that for you if you can't find it elsewhere.

 

If you get the Reprogramming kit it already has the large boost valves. As transfixleo said, I would install the vacuum modulator in place of the force motor, it makes the transmission very responsive. If I can be of help?, call me at 800 7763288 or email me.
