Will a set of 3.42 gears from a 94 Z28 fit my 88 GTA

Will a set of 3.42 gears from a 94 Z28 fit my 88 GTA
I replaced the 9 bolt with a 10 bolt. My buddy is going to give me these gears and think they should work since both rear ends are 10 bolt 7.5 rear ends. Are there any problems with this?

Transmission: Tremec T56
Axle/Gears: 12-Bolt 3.73
What gears are in your 10-bolt now? If you have 2.73's or 3.08's, then no. If you have 3.23's then yes.

yes, I have 3.23's I believe. I know it's not in the 2's, so they will work? Awesome!
