Auto to Standerd Tranny....is this hard?

i currently have a 92 camaro RS automatic. Im dropping a 350 in and i was wondering if it would be too hard to convert to standerd while im already dropping a new block in. what exactly do i need besides a standerd tranny, shift kit and clutch pedals. have any of you out there done this successfully?

You need everything that a manual has to successfully convert. Also there is some cutting when adding in the clutch pedal i believe. If your dropping in your own engine i dont think a tranny swap is beyond your ability. You also have to look at what transmissions came with 350s there is a reason you couldnt get a t-5 with a 350.

Things can be done for cheap if you can find the parts for cheap. I would think 500 bucks for just the tranny swap might be tight though. You're just looking for a 5 speed right?>
