I just received my set of Richmond gears and installation kit today, but I want to be certain about two things.

First, the spline count is 27...thought it should be 28.....will this work?

Second, the diameter is 7.5".....thought it should be 7.625.....will this also work?

I made this clear to the rep at Summit Racing, since the web-site stated 2 different paramers. He told me that what I ordered is what I need.


Basically, do I have the right parts for my upgrade or do I need to get knee-deep in Summits a$$ over this?

the 28 spline you refer to is for the axle not the spline on the pinion. as far as i know all pinions have the same spline count. the 7.5 will work fine, it interchanges with the 7 5/8" ring gear
