ok here's the deal..on my 700r4 the t.v. cable seems to have no effect on how or when the tranny shifts. ok no.2 problem, i put 3.73's in my car inplace of 2.73's i swapped tou complete rears. at first when i put them in the tranny would shoft through the gears faster than hell,.but now it shifts like a special olympic hurdler...why? problem no.3.on the 2nd to 3rd shifts you can hear a very annoying rattlte(like a loose timing chain sound) coming from the tourque converter..does this mean the converter is bad????? problem 4. when i stall it up it wont even stall to 1,000 rpms?? before it would stall to like 1500 or 1600????why is the converter cuasing all theses problems? a guy at the tranny shop siad it sounds like i have to much line pressure.

My hunch is that the Throttle Valve is sticking in the VB. Too bad you didn't install a True Shift Kit (TransGo).
The early shift is because with the rear gear change you needed to put in the Hi Rev governor.
Stall changing? If you are sure where the noise is comeing from then OK, the converter is likely gone.

If you have lost the stall speed (was 1,600 now 1,000 rpm) the overrun sprag in the torque converter is gone. Time for a rebuild in the torque converter at a minimum. Look for metal in the pan, check the condition of the fluid? Yes, I would install the Trans-Go Shift kit once you have solved the torque converter problem, this will help eliminate the stuck TV valve and other inherent problems that present themselves in the 700R4.
