i got an 86 bird with a 2.8 5 speed, can i use my 2.8 flywhell on the 3.4 or must find a 3.4 one.

If I am not mistaken the 2.8L's changed right around 86 from internal balanced to external balanced. Came up in some research I was doing for my wifes fiero. I would get the 3.4L flywheel to be safe.
