I've searched quite a few times on the archives. Between, the Art Carr, Pro-Built, Raptor700-R4, and The one from the trannydoctor. Which one have you tried and how did it go. Was the customer service good? Did it shift the way you wanted?

Also, which tranny cooler is the best.
Also, please give me any other information about the 700R4 rebuilders and what you think of them.

My transmission is sitting at 150k (no rebuild) and it's slipping from time to time. The time will be here before long. I'm looking for opinions before I jump in to one.

I just got my Probuilt tranny Thrusday and put it in that night. Compared to a B&M and a TCI the Probuilt smokes them both. The service from Probuilt is great and Dana the guy that owns Probuilt is great to work with. This is buy far the best tranny I have ever used. Under light throttle the shift are smooth and not harsh like other performance trannys I've had,but hit the loud pedal and the 1-2 shift is frying the tires. Dana can make the tranny shift how ever you want it to though. I also got the converter from Probuilt and its a ACT 9.5 inch 2800 stall. The converter works real good and stalls perfectly. I also got the tranny cooler from Probuilt and its a Hayden and seems to be fine. Dana is great to work with and sales good products,he spends a lot of time talking with you to make sure he builds the tranny to perform like you want it to. Call Dana and talk to him,I guarante you will be immpressed at his knowledge of the 700R4.
