Possible Problem...please advise/help....

Ok...this is what happend...last night. I was comming back home, and parking my car, and my gas pedal got stuck in reverse. I panicked, and instead of turning the car off, I put the car into drive-keep in mind that the tires were spinning pretty fast...so that wasnt good. Finally, i got the car into park, at a normal RPM level. Today, i took the car out, and i noticed two things-1st, when i step on the gas pedal, i can feel something through the pedal...like some sort of vibration-not choppy, but sustained. Also, after i start stepping on the pedal, the car sounds like it has 2 different exhausts....i hear another type of "noise" like an exhaust-deep and also sustained, but not really....hard to explain. Its not a clunking or anyhting, just sounds like a buzzzing sound...sounds like its comming from the front. What could all this be? What did i break? Other than that, the car is acting fine-kinda idling high....but i had her up to 95mph on the interstate just now, and it seems fine for the most part. I think i also noticed a POSSIBLE loss of power....I THINK...not positive, but it feels like i could've lost some power, not sure. She still shifts through all the gears, and reverse is ok. If anyone could give me some input on this, that would be great. The car is an 86 TPI 305, with a 4 speed overdrive, and 2.77 gears if that helps. Thanks.

Most likely it broke the trans mount...

Trans mount? I remember when that went out last time, and if i floored it from a stand still, or started to move quickly, the entire car would buckle...there would a "thump" of some sort, and you would feel the car "kick back" a bit when you hit the gas.
