Posi Unit with 3.42's

I went to the junk yard today and found a camaro rear end with the above. I started taking it apart but could not get the posi unit out. How do I remove the clips of the axel shafts that connect to the posi gears? Also how do I remove the pinion gear? Thank you very much! Need this info ASAP.

the c clips don't connect to anything but the axle.
remove cover,
remove cross bolt in right side of the carrier, 5/16 hex i think, it goes side to side thru a 5/8 or so cross pin. you can see the ends of the pin.
remove bolt,
remove pin,
push axles towards center clips should fall off if not fish them out
put wrench on ring gear bolt put socket on pinion nut and rotate and it should cam the carrier out
remove pinion nut and smack pinion with brass hammer and pinion should coem out
