T-56 Noise

OK, some of you guys with a T-56 may be able to help me here. I have a 92 Firebird with a 97 T-56 transmission. The trans had 42k on it went I got it (I saw the car). When I installed it, I used the donor cars clutch cylinder and pressure plate. I used the original throwout bearing, but put a new stock clutch in it. A few weeks a ago, I though I heard a low "growl" when shifting into 3rd. That growl has become more often and happens going into 2nd also. I have also heard it in 4th now. You only get the noise when shifting and the car is moving. I can shift, with the car running, all day long and will never hear it.

Any ideas....

Thanks

Mark

If you hear the noise when the clutch is depressed then you probably need a new throwout bearing.
