blown second gear?
I just finished a 200 for a wc-t5 swap, and when I went for a test drive, I went to put it into second gear, and it clunked really hard, and wanted to pop out of gear. I was wondering if it was the syncronizer, or possibly somthing else. Every other gear worked just fine. Should I rebuild it, or get a new one? I could get a new one for $600.
It came out of a '91 camaro, that was in a front end collision. Maybe it was left in second gear when parked, and the impact screwed the syncros?

Yep, probably syncros. The same thing happened to my T5 after banging second gear daily.
Wouldn't stay in second, as soon as you let out the clutch it would pop out of gear.Glad to hear the guy you got it from will exchange it,otherwise it's rebuild time.
