89 T-5 in place of a 91

I have a 91z that has a t-5 that took an "s" on me. I am aware that I have an electronic speedo. I can get a deal on an 89(no electronic speedo). Is there any way to convert the 89 to what I need? Thanks guys Derrick

Take out your VSS and put it in the other trans. One 10mm head bolt on each trans; 2 min. tops.

Assumes the dirve gear is the same for each tranny. Look in there and check if they are the same color. Otherwise they will need to be swapped. All your 90 stuff can be swapped onto the 89. Good luck, Lon.
