You'll need an adapter plate for the BOP pattern, a cross member kit for the T400 and a drive shaft, but yes, it will fit. You would be better off finding a chevy pattern though and unless you are making big power, stick with a T350 or something.

Ive used that adapter plate before with a BOP tranny and a chevy engine. It was a big headache putting small spacers between the torque converter and the flywheel. The other problem you will run into is the flywheel weight will probably rub on the adapter plate. Mine did. I would recomend finding a tranny with the chevy bolt pattern or the universal bolt pattern

i put the adapter chevy engine to bop trans from TCI and it fit and works great, mabey you put it in wrong?

i had a one piece rear main chevy 350 and the weight on the flywheel faced toward the block. no i didnt put it in wrong... I dont know how it could possibly be put on wrong
