Re: which transmission to get?

T5: 2.95:1 first. T56 retrofit version: 2.97:1 first. T56, '93, 2.73:1 axle = 3.36:1 first. T56, '93, 3.23:1 axle = 2.97:1 first. T56, '94-'02, 3.42:1 axle = 2.66:1 first. Tremec TKO500: 3.27:1 first. TKO600: 2.87:1 first. The TKO600 is as strong as the T56, and is lighter, and but ends up costing just as much as the T56 by the time the installation is complete. You might be able to find a good deal on a used TKO or older Tremec TR3550 from a Mustang guy, then use the McLeod modular bellhousing to install it. It's alot like a TKO500.

Re: which transmission to get?

T56, '93, 2.73:1 axle = 3.36:1 first so this t56 has the highest first gear ratio at 3.36:1 for first gear right?
