My 85 IROC currently has 3.23s. How much more 'zoom' will I get at highway speeds? How about gas mileage? In your opinion, is the swap worth the effort?

well i went from 3.08 to 4.10's to 3.42's. 4.10'S were nice but i power shift the auto and i used to light those up all through first. I used to anihilate the tires. The 3.42's are nicer. I still need to lose some low end torque cause i have to roll the launch or i'll spin them but otherwise there really nice. It still kinda sucks on the highway cause i do 80 at like 2800rpms, and any faster i see the gas gauge literally drop. But depending on mods its a nice thing to have. And it costed me $800 dollars to get it put in and if you could do it yourself then i think its a nice mod
