Ok I know that the one on the left is obvious the shifter cabke that goes to the trans but what is that other cable? It runs up into the dash? I have no clue. I have a B&M shifter that I want to install but I know I wont be able to hook up the other cable, and I wont be able to put the nuetral saftey switch on, Will this matter?

 

That is for the lock in the ignition switch. No key no shifting into gear.
