Clutches
Hello everyone. i was wondering what you guys use for clutches in your cars. I hav a 85 camaro that i dropped a 400 smallblock into last year. It now has a 700r4 but i am replacing it with a T5 tranny and i was curious what clutch i should get. What are some good brands? My car puts up around 400 hp and possibly more someday, so i need a clutch to hold up to about that power level. Thoughts?

Re: Clutches
the issue you will run into is that the t5 is a weak trans. A stock vehicle can break them, you will have to be careful with it.
You best bet is to use a stock replacement clutch, or something just a little stronger. That way the clutch will slip before the trans can be stressed to the point of failure
or look into a t56 instead.
