Mobile 1
i run only MOBIL 1 fluids also,and i have a case of the synthetic ATF waitin to go in my trans, i would think that it would be as good as there other fluids.

I have found that (and many other trans shops agree with me) Mobil One not to be as good as their regular Dexron 3. This was the results from the last 4 years up to a year ago, I have no new results(comparisons)in this last year since that time. So it is possible for them to have "improved", "changed" their fluid since then. My opinion is find something that has proven itself (5 years & more) Amsoil #1, Redline #2, etc. These oils have proven track records. I'm sure that transfixleo would agree with Amsoil or Redline.

In general, a synthetic that meets the specs of the manufacturer's requirements will be a better, longer-lasting fluid than the same spec petroleum base fluid. That goes for engine oil, tranny fluid, gear lube, grease, hydraulic fluid, etc.
But, blanket statements like that rarely stand up to the microscope. So, do like Pro Built says and go for AMSOIL or Redline ATF. I haven't been disappointed in the last 18 years of AMSOIL use.

Iwas of the opinion that Mobil 1 was not suitable for our "old" engines as the clearance specifications in new engines are much smaller than ours.

I have no problem with Amsoil (I have used it) or Redline (I know others have with no problem). I will say this, I have Mobil 1 full synthetic in my Dakota 4X4 and this is a high risk tranny as far as lube goes. In fact the tranny had been done by someone else two years ago and it launched the O/D section geartrain (common problem). I expect no problems with the Mobil 1 Synthetic but I also have a TransGo Shift Kit in it and a TruCool cooler.

i just put in some b&m trick shift original tranny fluid and it made my tranny shift better, my tranny doesnt feel like is going to brake a mount anymore it shifts firm with the nice whip lash. who else has tried and it, and how did u like it.

I use Mobil-1 synthetic trans fluid in my trans, along with additive that the builder recommended. Works fine so far.
As a matter of fact, they told me not to use anything BUT Mobil-1...maybe because it mixes well with the additive??
But I'm sure Redline, Amsoil or others are just as good if not better..
