i have the 700r4 automatic.when im driving it just wont shift,it just keeps reving higher and higher ..is my tranny screwed? or is there something else that can cause this?
i checked my fluids and there fine

Have you checked the TV cable and readjusted it?

a tranny shop said it was the throttle valve sticking.is there any way to get to this to maybe lube it or something or is this right in the tranny?

If all the trans has is 1st and reverse pull the governor and check it. When the gear goes (it's plastic) the trans usually won't up shift.

If you feel the TV valve is stuck. With the engine off grab the TV cable at the TB. Give it a bunch of quick yanks and releases. This will often free up the TV valve.
