wondering what i need to swap trannys
i have an 86 305 auto iroc and i want to swap tans w/a 5 speed.... and i have everything mechanical to swap like the pedals and etc.. but i was wondering if i needed anything else lieka special chip or prom? thanks for the help!

You do not have to put in the right prom. The car will run just fine and no codes will be thrown. You might have some driveability issues but it is nothing major.
