need help bad. 3rd to 2nd at 100!!!

Last night I have no idea how i did this but i heard it happens. I went from 3rd to 2nd at 100. the RPM's went sky high. I slamed on the clutch and put in in netural. then in 5th. Now in 1st 2nd and 3rd at over 3,500 RPM's it vibrates just a lil but it wasn't there before. How bad can it be. I am looking to get a turbo 400 trans verry soon now. I don't know when the last time the trans fluid was changed, so today I am going to get that changed along with my oil. Can someone please help.

Your clutch prolly overheated and warped. just a guess of course, but when you slam a gear like that at such a high speed the clutch is GOING to Slip ALOT and prolly if its stock or near stock its goina burn and warp. thats why its vibrating, warped clutches will cause drivetrain noise... changing the gear oil will let you know if any metal parts are broke, you will see metal shaving in the oil hehe. if its a stock clutch with miles on it, its prolly just warped.

well i guess that is kind of good news. I mean from a guess that can be right. It is an after market 5 speed. I am going to get the numbers off the trans and see if anyone knows what kind it is. A warped clutch is a lot cheaper to replace then a trans i know that much so i am hoping its just the clutch. Hey thanks for the reply.

Oh and BTW if your car starts making a knocking sound, like detonation or a rod knock or somthing shortly after the vibration, it could be a cluster gear going bad. My Super-T10 make a really low knocking, i thought i had a bad knock and my engine was goina blow up, till i realized it was knocking alot more in gear and while i drived it. it blew up about 10 miles later.
