Another Hydraulic Throw Out Bearing Thread

I have searched, and most threads are old, and they do not give me the answers that I need.

I have a 1992 Trans am, a M21, I ordered a Howe Hydraulic TOB, and I have a mechanical bellhousing, and I took out the fork and whatnot. How do I make this work? I havn't seen the TOB in person yet, but how do I connect my lines, what M/C? Stock? Do I need to mak anything? I am using a clutch from the M21 Also.

Thanks For any help

Also, this is the TOB I ordered.

Re: Another Hydraulic Throw Out Bearing Thread

You really didn't look very hard guy.

I posted about this within the last year, probably three different threads.
I explained in great detail how I upgraded my T-10 to a hydraulic TO. Yours is even easier, since it came with a hydraulic clutch setup to being with!

All you have to do is remove your slave and fork, and install this hydraulic TO in it's place. Bleed it and you're done. Yes you'll have a gaping hole in your tranny. Oh well.

The second one is universal, so you can probably use it. The first one is meant for racing clutches. I believe that makes it thinner, since the racing clutch is thicker.
Call Howe and tell them which clutch and tranny you have and they will recommend one (I believe the second one is the one you want though, it's the one I have as well)

Sounds good. I will search your name, and figure it out. I am in Boston right now, and the parts just got to my house, and they are not in front of me. Thanks man.

Re: Another Hydraulic Throw Out Bearing Thread

I just searched your posts (3), which i have read before, and I kind of understand, but you used an aftermarket m/c, and i am in need of help with the stock m/c. Do you have any pics of your setup? Ill have to check on how to hook the TOB to the stock M/C
