I have a 1988 GTA, 5.7L TPI. 700r4.

Problems :
-WOT in "D" or manually shifting, it will not upshift unless u let a little off of pedal slightly.
-All other part throttle shifts are perfect
-Between 2-3 I let off a little in the red line, it shifts, i go to put back onto the floor it wants to kick back down and pull into the red until I am at about 124km/h

I have adjusted the auto adjusting cable 101929202 times, same thing
I have replaced govenor with known good one - no change, part throttle shifts are better now, but still no WOT shifts.

Would a streched TV cable cause this? (I cant tighten it up a little due to the auto adjust part itll pull back out at WOT anyway

Any input?

Trans has no shift kit, but has b&m OD shift valve, kevlar bands, vette convertor.
