what trans do i have
hey i just bought a 88 camaro 305 tpi with ttops the car is all stock its leaking trans fluid from the front seal when i bought the car the guy told me the trans is a 700r4 i pulld the trans out and it just looks too small to be a 700r4 the torque converter is held to the flexplate with 3 bolts when i pulld the trans out i picked it up and carried it to the back of the garage by my self (im no wimp but im not huge lol) the trans pan looks like a 700r4 basically just a square i donno it just looks small does anyone know what trans is in this car i tried lookin up the stock trans for the 88 camaro but i havent had much luck

Stock trans would be a 700R4.
Other than the drain bolt, here is a 700R4 pan. Stock pans have NO drain bolt in them & are a bit shallower.
