i am looking for a great street strip tranny for a daily driven Iroc. which is the best tranny to go with (reliability, durability, value). what are the best mods for my car which will not effect drivability and dependability? all advice and coments are appreciated.

stick with the 700r4 that came with it stock.
put in a shift kit for some good shifts.

with the 700r4 you will launch harder than with a t-350 or t-400, cuz it has a higher first gear, and you will also get better mileage cuz of overdrive and lock up.
