i took out the billet servothat i installed inmy 700r4 and replaced it with the origanal servo. i still have lost second gear. my car just shifts from first to third and if i put it in the 2 -drive its almost like nuetral. the ppl at transmissioncenter.net said the 2-4 band coud be out of adjust ment.could that be true?and if so how do i re-adjust it? thanx

 

if you install the servo properly, it should adjust the band. Are you putting all the servo pieces in properly?

 

yes i put it in exactly like i tok it out. servo retaining spring,servo piston,servo housing,spring,washer,e-clip to hold washer and spring, then 4th piston and cover......all te o0rings were intact so i dunno what would be wrong ther than the 2-4 band.
