400 sbc starter with a t5 ?

ok i have a small block 400 and ever other part to put the t5 behind it and i came down to the starter. lucky me my block only has two holes drilled in it. so i am wondering what or if any starter will fit the 400 with a t5 besides the opion of drilling a hole and taping it any info would help thanks

No other option exists.

The inner bolt hole location is such tht a bolt in it would have to go RIGHT THROUGH THE MIDDLE of the starter drive. It is therefore not possible to use that bolt hole to hold on a starter that will work on a 12¾" flywheel.

On the 400 I ran in my 83 HO car for about 10 years, I drilled and tapped the extra hole.

Drill the hole with a 5/16th and tap it with a 3/8th.

Where did you find the externally balanced flywheel? I can't find a lightweight flywheel anywhere.

i used a early 12.75 350 flywheel with a pork chop weight. which i found at port city racing. for 15 bucks. they have a web site its portcityracing.com
but that is my plan i dont know how it works yet cause i still have to drill a hole for the starter. but when i do i will let u know
