I have the 700R4 Trans in my 91 Z-28 350. Every time I shift from park to drive, drive to reverse etc, the car jerks a little. When I manually shift my auto, the gear i'm shifting into takes 2-3 seconds to catch gear. What do you guys think is wrong with my trans?

How about starting by checking you fluid condition and level?
