Engine: 5.0L carbed and 5.0L TPI
Transmission: TH700R4
Axle/Gears: 3.23 and 3.27 posi
Differentially challenged... plz help!

In an effort to increase my knowledge, could someone tell me what the difference is between a spool and a mini-spool? Why would one be used instead of the other? Thanks!

A spool replaces every thing in the rear end the spider gears and the case the ring gear bolts to. The mini spool only replaces the spider gears. Thats why the mini costs less than a full spool.
