to install this shift kit do i need to take out the transmission? the instructions say something about check *****. are these ***** easy to reinstall with the transmission still hooked up?

 

no some kits all you need to do is take the valve body out and rework that then get underneath the car and do something to the tranny in the car.. thats what i did with my transgo shift kit..... took me about a week for everything.. i took my time and made sure everything was correct.... but since then i have a b&m shift kit and that was done by someone else so im not sure....

 

B&M's instructions are actually written for doing it under the car. It's not fun, but it's not difficult, either.
