woohoo! getting rebuild read inside
well I went to get my shift kit installed (TransGo). long story short they called me on my cell said to come by when I had a chance. looks like it was gettin time for a rebuild... he showed me all the parts etc. and they had great customer service.
long story short they're putting a Corvette Servo, Corvette Governor, rebuild, Transgo shiftkit and a couple other little goodies including tax comes to $2 200... so around $1400 US...
what do you guys think of this? it comes with 1 yr warranty and these guys KNOW their transmissions, they've dedicated 1 hr for free when it's done for tuning, road tests etc.
plus they're replacing rear main seal and my rear spark plugs :P

Well $1400 (US) for all of that sounds like a pretty good deal. And if you know that the shop is reputable, you are really getting a good deal...

yeah included in the kit is a heavy duty 2400rpm stall Converter.
okay i just wanted to check and see with you guys if this is a half decent price for the work i'm getting done. this shop does quality work.... I get a 1 yr warranty with it and he guarantees it'll handle 400hp.
