I was driving the car Friday night on the freeway doing about 75mph and everything seemed fine. When I got off the exit ramp an 83' z28 with a 350 pulled on the side of me and we discussed our cars for a moment. When the light turned green he took off and so did I (not racing). However, I noticed my engine revving very high but the speed didn't seem to be increasing. So I pulled in a gas station to check the trans fluid and check for any leaks. Everything checked out fine. At this point the trans will shift out of first but will not shift out of second. I can barely get up to 30mph.

I have a B&M 2400 Holeshot Converter and a trans cooler. Furthermore, the filter and fluid were recently changed. Also, the fluid is still a cherry color and does not smell burned or anything.

Any suggestions or input before I take it to the trans shop???
