Guys With 3.42s

I've searched the archives but would like more specific answers, if possible. I'm currently running stock 3.23s.

1. Is the seat of the pants difference worth the cost for a daily driver (I'm mostly a highway driver)?
2. What kind of gas mileage should I expect?
3. Noise?
4. New or used gear sets?

What tranny do you have? I'm at 2000RPMs in OD at 65MPH with my t-5.

I switched from 3.08's, it seemed to me like each one of my gears pulled like the next lower one (fourth pulled like 3rd, etc.)

At 2000rpms in 5th gear I am at 70mph (before it was between 75-80mph)

You might not see much or a difference from 3.23's. However my gas mileage hardly suffered at all (26 mpg on the highway)

I have Richmond gears and they do whine noticeably, but are easily drowned out by my stereo on low volume.
