Need rear end help please... (3.73/limitied slip)
OK the rear seems fine when cold and if i drive under lets say 10 miles...but anything more.....when turning slow...makes a noticible clanging....I'm wondering if it just needs new fluid with GM additive....the rear isnt that old..at all....could i possible get any advice...or things to look for when i drop the rear cover?

Is there even any additive in there? You could probably try and add some more and see if it helps.

Sounds like it is lacking the friction plate modifier. I would still take the cover off and look things over, though.
New fluid can't hurt. My favorite is AMSOIL Series 2000 75W90 gear lube. It doesn't need that expensive little tube of additive (already has it in there), and is highly superior to any petroleum-base gear lube for protecting the rest of the diff.
