Poly transmission mount
I just ordered the Energy Suspention mount for the transmission and the torque arm, anything special about installing either one?
Think it'll help me put down any more power?
Well probably sine my current torque arm mount is trashed and clunks every time i move.

easy to install, just like stock, won't help you apply the power to the road

trans mount and torque arm mount are two different mounts. but the clunk when you move is likely the tranny mount

The torque arm bushing re-uses the factory GM brackets; you need to drill out the rivets (holding the GM rubber to the brackets). The ES bushing is quite thick, I used a pair of big channel locks to "squash" the brackets closed around the bushing, as I bolted the bushing/bracket into place. That was what took the longest on my install.
Trans mount; just don't overtorque the mount-to-trans bolts, steel bolts into an aluminum case = possibility of stripping the threads with too much torque.
The car felt completely different with the poly torque arm bushing installed- much more stable.

I just put in the poly torque arm mount. It is quite a tight fit, as already stated. and it pushed me almost to the point of frustration! (I said a few choice words!) I did feel a bit of difference. Mine was used, it came out of the parts car I have along with the 9-bolt, and the TPI harness that will someday find it's way into my car!
Anyway, the mount will make more of a difference in the way the car drives, not in the way it launches, although it couldn't hurt launching either!

I did my tranny poly mount today and noticed that the poly mount is about a half inch higher than the stock mount. Haven't driven it yet. I called Energy to tell them about the differance in heighth and they said they are retooling them for next month. I called because all of a sudden my starter would not engage correctly and I thought it's possible that the higher mount could be the problem.

Just as a note CHP Magazine used a ES poly torque arm bushing in their LG4 Camaro project and it alone shaved 2 tenths off of there et's....Hmmmm sounds like it works.... It worked for me...

I did them both at the same time. And while I love the bushing, I only kept the mount in for three days before the vibrations drove me nuts. Swapt it out for a 1LE mount and no vibrations.
I have them both and they do help on hooking up. See, when your tires start to turn and your axle tries to twist, therefore your torque arm wants to push up. Also putting pressure on your transmission mount. With the polyurethane mount and torque arm bushing there is no flex, therefore the energy of taking off makes your rear suspension do its job. Many people may say there is no change. I can still roast my tires but when it comes down to it at the track, I did gain in my 60 foot.

Well, technically mine's not a 1LE. I went to Autozone and asked for a mount for an LS1 6spd car. Looks exactly the same as the 1LE. I don't know if it the same as the one SLP sells but the price was the same. Been running it for over a year now with no vibrations or any other problems.
