4th Gen Tranny in ThirdGen?
4th Gen Tranny in ThirdGen?
My NWC T5 died in my 2.8 and I was curious if a 5 speed from a 4th Gen 3.4L (both 60* V6) would work.
The person I talked to said that it would not bolt up because the tranny is at a different angle than in 3rdGens. I find this tough to believe.
He also said something about the 4thGens using a different type of speedo pickup.
Any thoughts on whether or not it would work? I would like to get a newer one with less miles if I can.
Thanks!

I know the speedo pickup is different, but I dont know that much about V6 T5's... Sorry. You might try the V6 forum over at camaroz28.com, see if they know.
