Which is better?

Ok i am looking to get a GTA, but i would like it to be standard, but if it is auto would there be much difference if i got a shift fit. I would take it to the track, so would there be much diff. between standard and an auto with a shift kit?
Thanks a lot.

Is there such a thing as a factory GTA with a manual transmission?

Conventional wisdom says an auto is the preferred configuration for the drag strip, and manual for autocross.
