Car: 1989 Corvette
Engine: 350 Tpi
Transmission: ZF 6 speed
Axle/Gears: Dana 44 3,33
Rear axel

Is i good or bad to have a 2.73 rear axel with posi-traction. Is i good to have a higher number like 3.73 or???

It all depends on what you want. That is a great everyday driver rear gear. I bet you get pretty good fuel economy! If you are trying to make your car fast though this rear just won't cut it. You can have alot of power and you won't really shoot off the line because you have no gear backing it. It all depends on wht you want. If you are going for street racer I'd get a 3.73 or if you have a stick 4.10.
