Tranny Won't Go All the Way Into Park.

When I park the car, the tranny will not go fully into park. The idle rises, but it won't grap unless I fiddle with the shifter quite a bit. Is this a cable problem?

Probably need to be adjusted at the tranny.

Figured so, cause the original owner said the bushing was a little messed up. What is the name of the cable so I can order it? Is it just called a shifter cable?

the shift cable is a dealer part. Any GM dealership can order one for ya, I think they are 20-30 bucks.
