I was wondering how much power a 85 700r4 with a complete b&m rebuild and shift kit It also has a new front pump and will possibly soon have a 95+ s10 converter. It was built by my cousin and uncle who runs a transmission shop, so he said that he set it up about as good as possible with that style valve body. It has a nice firm shift now and chirped the tires with my lg4 which is now dead and I am probably going to be putting a 350 in its place. I know that b&m is probably not the best kit I could have used but I did not know about thirdgen at the time and I just saw the kit in summit and bought it and then took it to my cousin and asked him to install it. I think it should be able to handle the 350 I have acess to now but I just wonder how much power you think it would b safe to put through it.
