torque converter

i have a 91 RS and just put a transgo shift kit and corvette servo in my 700R4. Now i am curently getting it rebuilt. While its out of the car i want to throw on a new torque converter on there. I plan on going to the strip at least 4-6 times a month, but i still drive it every day. so what would be a good converter to throw on there. Prices and places to buy would help.

Check out my website www.pro-built.net and look at the A.C.T. 9.5" torque converter. This will give you the best performance for the dollar, and it is much easier on the gear train (about 15 lbs. lighter). Stall will depend on the particulars of your vehicle. If If you have any questions on this, let me know?
By the way A.C.T.'s website is www.actperformance.com

You could get the higher stall TQ out of a 95' and newer 4.3L S10. It stalls at about 2200 and is a good choice for mildly modded cars. The was a post recently that had the part # of the TQ.

Pro Built, I've noticed you've changed setups, do your 700-r4s still claim high HP numbers? Same as before, though I can't seem to remember them. Believed they were 600. Also, the 1300 on a built 700r4 is without a TQ converter right?
