WC T-5 Question: Confirm or Deny
Are the T-5 tail shaft housings between the cable driven and the electric driven speed sensors the same?
So far I've found one that's different but I want to be sure before I go through the effort of trying to find a different tailshaft housing. It looks like the electric one uses one very similar to the 700-R4 sensor that I just removed from the car. This cable one is DEFINITELY much smaller than the one that I had in the 700-R4 that I just removed so I'm just trying to make sure.
Thanks

Re: WC T-5 Question: Confirm or Deny
The T5's I've seen have been the same cable or electric. But I haven't seen them all. I took a NWC T5 out of an 83 and put it in an 87 Bird. Pulled the cable drive out of the tailshaft and reinstalled the speed sensor.

That's what I was hoping for but I found a pic of one that had a unit that looked like the 700-R4 sender, which I know won't fit in mine. I'm not that worried about it now since I decided that it would be better for me to just buy the Dakota Digital Converter with a new sender.
