so i installed a hayes clutch when i dropped my 355 in it, but now when i push in the clutch my trans continues spinning so first gear is a bit of a challenge, and reverse requires quick action of 2nd to R or it grinds for obvious reasons. I thought it was odd that these don't have pilot bearings and only a pilot bushings, and i'm thinking that this is my problem as i forgot to see how tight the bushing was on the shaft, but i'm looking for some advice from someone who is more seasoned in these cars than me. any ideas???
