t5 swap questions
I recently bought what i believe is a complete t5 swap for a auto 86 camaro. I bought the entire set up which includes the t5 tranny, clutch, pressure plate, flywheel, pedals, upper console and boot, shifter, bellhousing, and hydraulic linkage. Ive been looking at other threads before i go to put it in to make sure i have everything before i start. I saw that some people say you need an extension for the driveshaft but some others dont mention it in the installation. I was wondering if that was necessary and if there is anything else i would need besides a piolt bearing. Thanks.

Something always seems to crop up, though you appear to be covered. Depending on what's in the trans, you may need to swap the drive and/or driven gears to make the speedo rear correctly:
