Severe Shudder in first and Reverse.
Hey guys,
I have an 83 Z, 305 5 speed.
When I put it into 1st or Reverse there is a severe shake or shudder, not sure exactly what to call it, until the car starts moving. I do need to change my clutch. Do you think that is the only problem or something really wrong with the transmission.
Also, if I give it a bit more gas bringing the rpms up a bit the acceleration as I let the clutch out is smoother.

Time for a new disc and resurface the flywheel and p/p. Sounds like the marcel in the disc is non existant, which helps with cushion when you first start off.
