Anyone ever lose 5th in a T5?

Engine: 5.3, 4.8
Transmission: 4L80 4000, T56
Axle/Gears: 4.30 M12, 23.42 10 bolt
Anyone ever lose 5th in a T5?
Well, i pulled my T5 and installed the T5, so i am going to bust it open and see why 5th disappeared. Fix it and sell it, but i was wondering if anyone else have had 5th gear just disappear.

ANSWER: The snap ring that holds 5th into place was stretched by the shop that pressed everything on, so i clamped it, heated it up on the shaft, then re installed it now it is perfect
